This well regarded and established law firm in Birmingham is considered to be the leader of the pack in many aspects. The firm is now looking to hire an Insolvency Partner to head up the department. There is already an existing caseload in place with some excellent contacts in place within the market. However the team now needs to hire an individual to continue building the team up and to put in place initiatives to continue the growth of the department and development of the team.

The successful candidate will either be a Partner with an established track record in the market place or a Senior Associate who has been unable to achieve their ambitions for partnership within their current firm. The position requires the individual to possess an excellent technical knowledge of Administrations and Liquidations, Receiverships, Company Voluntary Arrangements and Personal Insolvency. You will also be required to manage and mentor the team and put a strategy in place for succession planning. The role will require someone highly motivated and ambitious in order to take the team forward.

Alternatively you may already be a practising lawyer who has a flair for business development and an ability to build strategic relationships who may now be looking for the next challenge in their career. The ideal candidate will be articulate, highly motivated and very ambitious with a potential for future board appointment. There is also the potential to build a team underneath you as the scope of the role gows.
